Public Artwork and monuments have become very popular with the development of the infrastructure of the country in recent years. Michaels work in this area is much publicised and admired and can be viewed throughout the landscapes of Co. Donegal.
The picture opposite is an example of Michael’s work at Mountcharles, Co Donegal.
Below are images of the map wall at Barnesmore Gap, Co Donegal. It features a sandblasted copy of the text from an 1835 letter by John O’Donovan, who famously catalogued place-names and recorded the lives of the local people in a three-month survey of Donegal.
